Why I want to support women in their 30s to 60s – My Journey with Bowen Therapy

When I think about women aged 34-65, especially those balancing family, work, and self-care, it feels deeply personal because I’ve been on that journey myself. It’s why I trained as a Bowen Therapist – to help women tune into what their bodies are telling them, especially when life is asking so much of them.

In my late 30s, I remember juggling the demands of family, career, and health. I felt like my body was speaking, but I wasn’t listening. The tiredness, the aches, the worries – I brushed them off as just part of “doing it all.” But the truth was, my body was crying out for help. That’s when I found Bowen Therapy.

The Bowen Therapy Shift – How It Changed My Life

I couldn’t believe how a gentle therapy could have such a powerful effect. After a few Bowen sessions, I felt a shift – my neck and back pain eased, my sleep improved, and I began to feel lighter emotionally. Bowen Therapy gave my body the space to restore itself, and the relief wasn’t just physical – it was like a mental weight had lifted.

Experiencing this transformation inspired me to help other women find that same relief and renewal. It’s why I became a Bowen Therapist.

As I work with women from their 30s through to their 60s, I hear the same stories and struggles – a reminder that we’re all carrying so much. Some of the most common challenges I see are:
